IS ANY FAT HEALTHY TO USE IN THE FAT COMPARTMENT?

faq-fat-compartmentNO.  Doing this wont help you achieve your goals. There are good fats and bad fats and we’ve got to stay with the  good program. Avoid full fat cheeses, things that are deep fried, trans fats, stick margarine, corn oil  and sunflower oil.
 
 
 
 
 

IM A VEGETARIAN, CAN I STILL USE VIDADISH?

veggiesYes of course! Please check out our Meal Plan options, there are some great veggie ideas there for lunch and dinner. You can always substitute any of the other recipe ideas and make them animal free by using faux chicken, ground veggie round or tofu. HOW MANY CALORIES DOES A MEAL AND SNACK DISH HOLD?

faq-caloriesWe cant give the exact calorie that each individuals meal and snack dish would hold without knowing exactly what foods are inside. A safe guess is 350-400 calories in a MEAL size dish, and 150-200 calories in the SNACK dish.
 
 
 
 
 

I GET BORED WITH  MY FOOD SO EASY, WHAT SHOULD I DO?

I hear you, its easy to fall into the repetition of the diet world! Because of this we have provided a lot of different ideas in the Meal Plan section of the site. I suggest trying them all, mix and matching a few, and buying  new spices when your doing the grocery shopping. Curry, Cajun, smoked flavor and mint to name a few.   We love to get new ideas from our customers too!

 

WHEN DO I EXPECT TO SEE RESULTS?

Results can vary on the individual and how much weight your trying to lose. If you are committed and sticking to your meal plan, then within 7 days you should defiantly be seeing results. Excellent motivation to keep going!

 

HOW MUCH WATER DO I REALLY NEED TO DRINK A DAY?

faq-waterAlways have some water going. Aim for 8-12 glasses a day. You will notice the bloat weight fall off when you are drinking tons of water and eating clean. That being said, if you have one of our Vidadish water bottles, its 500ml. Fill that up 4 times and you’ve made 8 glasses easily. We suggest filling your bottle at water fountains, the tap at work, or even asking your waiter.  Basically anywhere clean water is available. Get into the habit you will thank yourself.
 
 
 
 

IS STICKING TO A SCHEDULE IMPORTANT?

Yes it is. And this is why. If you don’t eat your meals and snacks on a schedule, meaning not letting any more than 3 hours pass from your last food intake, you could make a bad choice. Like a drive-thru window or aimlessly standing in front of the cupboard eating a bag of chips. If you are prepared with the proper foods and eating on a schedule. your body wont be tempted to eat something out of hunger. It will already be satisfied. So its ok to eat if your not famished, your doing yourself a favor and starting a life long routine of healthy eating choices.

I THOUGHT CARBS WERE BAD?

This is the worst myth since low fat. YES SIMPLE  carbohydrates are bad. Terrible in fact!!! It’s the COMPLEX carbohydrates you want to aim for in your “C” compartments Think fruits, vegetables, and whole grains like quinoa, oatmeal and brown rice.  There is a big difference between the two words,  and your body needs lots of veggies to lose weight.  Simple carbs are white rice, muffins, cake, pasta, bread, and almost anything from a bakery. AVOID these crappy carbs and think COMPLEX. ;)
